Summer Dreams

Hello friends!

Thought I’d stop by and post some photos of the studio and life lately.

I worked for a couple months straight on making my new studio space feel like home. My last studio had lots of natural light which was cool— but for this one I went a different route and rebooted it in dark mode! I think I succeeded. I added some fun neon lights and got everything up on the walls. It truly feels like my space, now.

Without natural light, I was missing my plants. The new studio space is literally in the basement for the Liquid Therapy brewery (the old Nashua Fire Station) so it has no windows and it’s pretty chilly/humid… but I fixed that problem easily by adding some grow lights and fun planters in the corner. I was skeptical they would work, but my plants have really taken off under them! Bonus, the pink light adds to the ambiance.

I’m currently working hard on getting everything ready for a shop update. This time around, I’ve got all kinds of goodies: tshirts, stickers, large and small prints, and posters! I’ve wanted tshirts and stickers done for so long and I finally got them! Here are the sticker designs and some print photos to hold you over until the shop update:

I must say, the universe has treated your girl real well, this Spring!

My old 2005 Jeep finally went into retirement and I got a new whip (warning, she is indeed v sexy)! She’s a 2022 Dodge Challenger GT and I love her dearly. She’s got an upgraded sound system and seats. While she may not be a Hellcat, she’s still got plenty of pick up (and I needed 4 wheel drive for the snow. She’s my daily driver and I live in NH okay don’t @ me w/ your weak jealous shiz). So as you can imagine, I’ve been having lots of fun driving around in the sunshine and eating up all the compliments I get from old guys telling me they love my cool muscle “cah.”

The aquarium I set up in November has finally cycled (I think…) so I’m going to be ordering some Nerite Snails and Amano Shrimp for it this week! After they’re well established, I’m going to order a Giant Koi Betta to be the centerpiece fish. I can already feel the multiple tank syndrome setting in… I need another for some neon tetras… we’ll see!

Otherwise, in my free time, I’ve been eating yummy foods, taking care of my house plants, reading, cuddling with my cat, brushing up on my bar tending skills, and hitting the gym. We made homemade ramen from scratch, which was a several days long process. Totally worth it, it was delicious!

So that’s what I’ve been up to, lately. Thanks for taking a look and set those reminders for mid-late June for the shop update!

Take care, see you in the next post!
